Old age.  After a certain period of time, the heart can no longer pump and the rest of the organs shut down and death results.

I guess that would be a peaceful way to go.

I'd like to think that's how we will all go - peacefully, instead of wasting away from some dread illness or disability.

In my mom's case, a massive stroke took her at 88. She was driving, going to the gym every other day, and in great shape until the day before it happened. Ten days later, she passed away.

Now you know why I don't go to the gym - I'm marshaling my heartbeats, not squandering them with exercise.

Failure of whatever organ quit first.  If the heart then heart failure.  If lungs, then asphyxiation.

I'd say accident... being in the wrong place at the wrong time...or fate?

    Old Age?

    Or maybe
Someone will do violence upon them,
    depends on Karma.
    Or Mother Nature will get
    her revenge for destroying
her Earth. :) This post was edited by Baba at September 11, 2020 6:38 PM MDT
