90s Nation on MTV Classic: Post a favorite song you might see if you'd like to, please?

I think I escaped that entire "can you/will you" dilemma there, didn't I?

Is that an MTV program?  I’ve never heard of it before. Approximately six months before they completely stopped broadcasting music videos altogether, I had already become jaded about their output and I haven’t seen the channel since.

MTV Classic is its own channel. 90s Nation is a program on that channel. They also have 80s programs and just music blocks, really.

You can't name a single 90s song, though? Just name a 90s song, Randy. I know you can do it!

I’m a dyed-in-the-wool eighties and before fan. If it was released after December 31, 1989, I’ll be hard pressed to name it off the top of my head, but I’ll try. (This is without looking anything up, I promise you.)

“Shoop, Shoop” by Salt ‘n‘ Peppa.

Was I right?  Is it from the nineties?

I'll trust Welby's info. I just knew it was 90s.

Songs are a big part of how I'm able to remember exactly what year things happened.

Many, many of the songs that I like remind me of a particular woman I knew.

The 80s program is "I want my 80s". Just FYI. In case you run out of 90-day Fiance episodes or need a break before starting in on Dr. Pimple Popper, MD.

Thank you. As for Miss Pimple-Killer, I’ll never be a fan; can’t even stand to watch those commercials. Same with 600-Pound Life. Uggggghhh.

What’s that you say?  You’ll be holding onto me for a long time?  I’m down, I’m down.

    Metallica went mainstream!

Even I listened to this and 'Enter Sandman'! And I was never really a big fan of metal.

    Wow, you agree? That's fun!!
    :)
I love the whole song - - but those last 15 seconds or so get me every time!! Just mumbling away to nothing - - I love it. "All in all is all we are."

(Funny thing is - - I've always liked this song and only found out in the last year that this song was by Nirvana. I never knew the title - -  only heard it here and there, by chance, and loved it. But never figured out the group or title and, then, I happened to hear it on the car radio and the DJ announced the group and song title.)

    :)

    I listened to it twice!

That is funny! I know songs like that, though. I've lived a very similar experience. It's kind cool, isn't it?

Speaking of never remembering song titles and groups (see my answer thread comment) -- your "1979" is a prime example! I always forget that song's title and group! Love that song!

I hear you! I've got songs like that, too. Less now, thanks to apps. Haha.

It's a good one, too. I also heard the inspiration for the other question I posted. I've always loved the song, but really just listened to it hard core. It's an amazing, incredible song. I'm going to post it here.

I don't know what other question you posted but it's fun to know you like "All Apologies," too.

I take it that the song is George Michael's song down there. :) I don't recognize the title, no surprise, ha.

But I'm going to have to head on out for now. I have to get up early tomorrow.
    :)
    See you.
    Be well!
