I don't think I've seem hardly any of his movies. I know of him but did not recognize him when I first saw this picture. I may not have known this song was from that movie, either. :) Pretty song!

I love that movie.....no remake will I ever watch.  The song, yes, Melissa Manchester is a fave.

Regine is the best selling music artist of all time in the Phillipines.  She's had a big career mostly in Asia.  I had only heard of her once before I looked to see covers of Melissa Manchester's song.  The song was written by Marvin Hamlisch and Carole Bayer Sager for the movie Ice Castles and they chose Melissa Manchester to sing the song which was nominated for an Oscar.  If you don't know the movie, you don't understand that she became blind and succeed by looking through the eyes (of love) of her boyfriend who was played by Benson.  

That movie sounds like a tearjerker. :)

Now that I listen again to Melissa Manchester, it must be her version that I spoke of earlier that I liked and, then, hearing her again, she seemed brand new to me and I loved her all over again.

Like I keep saying, the song is so pretty to me, too.

I haven't followed his career at all. He's an actor. I thought he was in the movie "Endless Love," a movie I've not seen, and I just looked it up -- he's not in it. Why I equated him with the movie, I don't know.
Anyway, he's an actor. :)

He was in "Ice Castles," I know - - Thriftymaid posted the opening of that movie in her answer. :)
