If you were provided with about 10,000 pieces of scaffold materials, would you be able to build platform 80 feet high for people to work?

On the side of a building..
It looks pretty complex to me how all these pieces are supposed to fit together to provide a safe solid structure.

    Easy
    but I wouldn't do it
    too much work.
    Would hire a scaffolding co.

It‘s difficult to answer accurately without knowing these three things: the dimensions of the building, the approximate weight of the ancillary equipment that the eighty people would be using, and whether or not all eighty and their equipment would be on the scaffolding at the same time.

I would just make fun like trying to  fiti all the pieces together like doing a great huge jigsaw puzzle.

You could build a safe 277 foot high platform with 10.000 scaffold pieces. It takes 9 pieces of scaffold to build a 4 foot high scaffold section so wilh 10.000 pieces the platform would be 277 feet high and you would have 2 extra pieces left over. Cheers and happy weekend!

Interesting. The ancient building across the street from me is 18 stories and scaffolding all the way up to the top and the scaffolding extends about 80 feet along 2 sides. There is a stairway built in also up to the top. It's all been enclosed so can't see what work is being done.
It is kind of a fancy heritage building. This post was edited by Kittigate at September 19, 2020 9:03 PM MDT

Ya  the scaffold  section I mentioned would only be 6 feet long so they would need more pieces to make it as long as the building. Cheers and happy weekend!
