Are you good at putting things behind you and moving on with your life?

A chronic procrastinator, I’m good at putting things off, but in some ways, it also works out that putting some things off allows me to move on with my life. Unfortunately, that is often in the form of missed opportunities.

Right now I am not very good at putting things behind me but I am working on changing that. I can be grudgfull and revengfull. I think I am fine with the moving on part because my life is always moving forward.  Cheers and happy weekend! This post was edited by Nanoose at October 3, 2020 9:48 PM MDT

Some things I can put behind me and move on, but it depends on how serious is the offense.  Having said that, eve when I more on, I don't forget.

Less important things, yes.  Important things that truly hurt or traumatize me, I move on but three things in my life left me forever different.  I have worked hard not to be lost to them.

I would like/need more animals; a dog, a bird maybe a couple of baby chickens and a turtle.  Not gonna get them but it sure would be nice.  The more the marrier. Maybe in another life.

I don't like change; too many if and's or but's.   This post was edited by Art Lover at October 3, 2020 7:29 PM MDT

It's the only thing in life that's certain.

    I wish.

So far I've managed to put good taste and common sense behind me.

    It's a start.

If I was good at it, I wouldn't have a mental illness.

Perhaps if you didn't have a mental illness, you would find it easier to put things behind you and move on.

Yes, I think I am. I might be fooling myself, though.

Yeah, I have some moments of sadness with doing that, but I’m pretty good at pushing through that at this point in my life. I’m a pro now  :)

    Yep. Very.
But I also make sure that I remember my mistakes and learn from them.
