I was out 'mudding'  one rainy evening when I noticed a guy had gotten stuck in the muck so I stopped (big mistake) and helped get him going. Meantime my wheels had sunk a bit and there I was.. stuck in the muck. I had to walk home, about a mile then it took about three days of dry weather before I could even get a guy with a farm tractor to come pull me out.

As a kid swimming in the lake with a sandy bottom but when you got so far out the bottom turned from sand to mud. We were using our feet to pick up mudd balls. And lobbing them at each other.  As I grabbed what was supposed to be a big gulp of air before diving under the water, I got a huge mud ball landed right in my mouth.  Quite disgusting.

If you didn't get sick from any of germs and bacteria in the mudball means your immune  system was able to kill  off all the invaders and you have developed immunity to lakemud bugs. So next time you get a mudball in the mouth you could just safely swallow it instead of trying to spit out.

(Don‘t listen to him. He convinced me to buy stock in moose ballet schools on the Canadian Stock Market, it turns out it was all just a loonies money-laundering scheme and look where it landed me.)

Well, ok.  I’ll send you the money, but this better be on the level, I can’t stand having more time tacked onto my sentence.  By the way, you do accept cash, don’t you?  I know it’s good because a guy named Regrof over in the next cellblock assures me it is.  Gee, now that I think about it, I never did find out why they have him locked up in here . . .

I did not get sick.  But I still would not swallow mud....it tastes like mud.

It is the only thing I have ever tasted that had that taste. And it was mud.

Right. One time back home on the farm I had to go out and split some firewood around dusk time. I tossed a short thick plank on the ground as a base to do splitting, didn't notice was a fresh cow poop underneath and when I whacked on that log I got all sprayed with dung including a mouthful. So now my immune system is resistant to bugs in cow poop I guess.
