    Tears.  I hate when I can't hold tears back.  I don't always want to but when I want to I just hate that I can't stop the rain.

    You think using the wrong effect/affect was bad, I now see that I answered this question in the reverse that it was asked.  Tears are not voluntary.  Oh well.  The message is true but just not adequately answering the question. :)
