How HOT is it?

106F/41C in Adelaide right now, and it's NOT EVEN SUMMER YET!

I'm not saying it's hot outside, but a couple of hobbits just threw a ring into my back yard.

    It's 12:23 AM in New York City and the temp is 55 F, which is fairly mild for the end of November.

    It's a nice spring morning.  The expected high temperature today is 28˚.  In the area where I live, only December and January have temperatures above 40˚.

    We get temps of 40+ occasionally in December, usually in January and always in February - but it's weird for November.

    The BOM forecasts a heat wave for you guys for the next week.
    Over here, 2 hours south of Brisbane, we're only hitting 32 in the shade, but it's so humid it feels like a sauna.
