I'm going to take it, so I would lie for the 1500.

I don't think you would have to lie according to the plan on Sen has put out. It is just take the vaccine get the money.

I will probably take it, but if I were not going for fear of adverse side effects, no amount of money would change my mind.

If I was not comfortable taking the vaccine $1500 wouldn’t change my mind. Maybe $7800 would do it.

    Expensive. :)
Why $7800 instead of an even $8000?

I don’t know:) it just the number that came to mind that may possibly be able to sway a decision. I’m willing to take more though, so $8000 is fine.

I plan on taking the Pfizer vaccination based on the information I have so far.  If the information changes, I may change my mind as well.

If you are talking about Astra-Zeneca, that is the one that will be sold at the actual cost of about $4 per shot.  The plan was to use this one in poorer countries.  This one does not involve mRNA.  That seems like a positive to me, but it's really not my field.

I appreciate the fact that they were very upfront and honest about the mistake.  I read the article and I don't really understand why the fact that when using a half dose gets better result that a full does  is problematic.

Yes that is the one. Thank you for the info. I had not heard what the supposed problem was just that there was a problem.  Sounds like it is not a problem at all.

No.  This vaccine will require annual boosters.  I see no reason to rush in and take it the first year.  I usually have trouble waiting and seeing but this time.............wait and see.

That is how we are with anything new. Let the other people test it for us.

The money would be better spent on another relief/stimulus package.

If I didn't feel that the vaccine was safe, no amount of money would encourage me to take it.  Honestly, I'm willing to wait and see how effective it really is and how people react to the side effects.  If the possibility of permanent physical/mental damage is too real, I would just take my chances and do without the vaccine.

No, I am not planning on taking it. There hasn't been enough research on long term side effects. Who knows what kind of organ or neuro effects it could cause.
