Discussion»Questions»Current Events and News» If you do not plan to take the Covid vaccine, IF the government agreed to pay you $1500 to take it, would it change your mind?
I really would like the money, but I just don't trust the vaccine enough for it to be worth the risk. I have a friend who is a nurse and he said he will not take it either. I asked if the hospital he works would require everyone to take it. His reply, "I'm old enough to retire!"

He will probably have to take that retirement. I know healthcare workers in my town will start recieving vaccine in less than 2 weeks. It is mandatory.
It depends on the hospital. The one I work at, it is not mandatory ... but "direct patient care" employees are given first choice. (That also includes housekeeping staff, as they clean the rooms.)
Nope! For all I know, that damn vaccine could turn me into the elephant man. I'll wait until the "beta testing" is over.
