The news is lying again. They keep saying Arizona has the highest death rate from covid per capita for all of the states.

I researched three different sources and AZ is tenth. NJ's is almost double. More fake news?

    I don't know. 
    Perhaps because they are a (normally) red state, the media can point to instead of NY and CA. 
    I just seen Spunky's answer.  AZ is first when limiting to the last 7 days...not overall. 
    So depends on how the news worded their report.

    No, it is a statement. 

    The answer to Element99's question depends on how the news media (that Element99 was watching) worded their reporting. 

    Did News Station XYZ say "AZ leads the nation in per capita deaths." (This is fake news...or incorrect news)  Or "AZ leads the nation in deaths per capita in the last 7 days."...(This would be a fact)

    I just did some research and the chart I found was updated today. It showed that California was number one in deaths and Arizona was number nine.

      One thing I noticed is just how out of sync and skewed the numbers are. No one can agree on just how many have actually died of covid-19 that didn't have other underlying health issues.
