What field of science do you think is the most difficult to learn and understand?

I was too lazy minded in school to try getting deeply into any particular field of science but I get newsletters from various sources with a lot of interesting articles to read.

I don't know what would be the hardest. But I had problems with Physics.  Though I believe part of that was I did not like the teacher's style of teaching.  Never took it again to try a different teacher.

Some of the more abstruse aspects of psychology. The science is still evolving, there is still a lot we don't know about what makes the mind tick.

In college, I did horribly with Statistics. Wait, that fell under the Mathematics Department.

(Mathematics is a discipline of science, right?)

I think so along with the science of finances like how to make your money multiply. This post was edited by Kittigate at January 26, 2021 5:50 PM MST

That one that ends in "ology".

    Seriously... I'd say physics.

That question can only be answered subjectively, by statements of own strengths or weaknesses.

For me - it is Mathematics, and that would bar me from advanced Physics and indeed high-level study of other sciences such as Astronomy and Geology; and Engineering (which is predominantly applied-physics).
