My first jab is scheduled for April according to my age group. Sure seems to be rolling out slowly enough.

I don't have a date for an appointment.  I refuse to spend 11 hours on my computer refreshing it to get an appointment which will likely not occur before they run out of the next batch of doses.  They keep opening mega places to get the shot without actually having a shot to get.

Sorry, Pal. Around here, I give the jabs, I don’t get them, but I don’t disparage others to do whatever they like. To each his own.

(Wait a second, exactly what is it we’re talking about here?)

I was watching BBC America, and they call it 'jab' over there. BTW, they are a good mews source. Sort of like NPR, but with ads. This post was edited by Element 99 at February 9, 2021 9:07 PM MST

I just saw on Yahoo that Walgreen's will be making appointments for the vaccine.  So, I go on the website and this is the reply I got:

We are sorry for the inconvenience, but this service is currently unavailable. Please try again later.

Yeah, I saw that, too, but they are not doing it in Ohio. I went to the other major pharmacies here and got the same message. Then I went to area hospital sites and got the same message.

The virus will be over and done before I can get an appointment for a vaccination.

Yep. I am still afraid to go to the dentist.

I had no choice.  A tooth that had a root canal years ago broke off at the gum line.  She removed what was left and put in a bone graft so I can have an implant done in three months.

  • As a healthy 29-year-old, it'll probably be some time before I can get it.
