    My cat likes to sleep in the middle of the floor a lot which seems unusual for a cat when they usually like to sleep in some more elevated place.

    My black cat has "the panther pad".  A little cubby hole between the back of the recliner and the fireplace.  My other cat is claustrophobic and doesn't like to hide.  He prefers to be in my lap or on the corner of the sofa.

    Probably. When we take her to the vet, she immediately goes behind their computer. They said all off the cats do.
