What’s going wrong in your kitchen? Name at least two or three long-term problems that need fixing. ~

 

1. The beveled ceiling lights were installed to replace the problem-plagued fluorescent lighting, but due to their difference in size and shape, the outline of the fluorescents needs to be painted over.

2. The microwave oven is old and sometimes makes a loud buzzing sound, it needs to be replaced.

    My fridge has a mysterious leakage of water occasionally for long time and the tiles in front of the fridge are lifting a bit. My hot water tap leaks and i gotta tighten it with a pipe wrench. 
    I will get after management one of these days.

    My kitchen fixture stopped working and I thought the fluorescent blubs needed to be changed.  When I took the cover off the fixture, and replaced the bulbs, I realized it was the ballast and when I went to put the plasric cover back on the fixture, it fell to the ceramic tile floor and cracked.  Now, I have no light in the kitchen.

    I also need to move my fridge away from the wall and vacuum the back coils because it makes a funny noise when it cycles on.

    I had my kitchen remodeled 2+ years ago and am now incurring no problems. We did have to replace the dish washer last month. Our older one was caught and deported. (Those Ukrainian women sure know how to clean dishes. )

    Not much, just recently repainted.  Appliances are good and have at least another 10-15 before replacements are required.  Lighting is all LED and the bulds will last at least another 10 years

    The sink sprayer sometimes sticks and then sprays you a little when you turn the faucet back on. 

    That's about it (knock wood).

    They are always raiding the cupboards and the fridge. Even straps don't work - they've worked out the trick of them.

    It is not self-cleaning.
