I smile at everyone. Because I am thinking of how I feel when someone smiles at me. I like it. So, I try and spread the goodwill to others. (you should give it a whirl)

Upon hearing this advice while listening to the audio version of Lyubomirsky's book, I decided to give it a try with the very next stranger I encountered. The very next stranger I encountered had her face buried in her smart phone and didn't even notice my existence....;-D....
