    The "fashion" originated in prison, so I fail to understand why anyone not incarcerated would want to emulate anyone who is.  Maybe that makes them feel like they have street cred.  Who knows?  All I know is that it looks ridiculous and if they had to run, they'd be easy to catch.

    i saw someone try to make this argument once and they were called a racist because it’s part of rap/hip hop culture which is black culture so they’re essentially trying to erase black people and black culture 

    so do with that what you will
