That has worked for you; mine is also unlisted as far as our home phone is concerned, yet modern technology such as robo-calling and random number searching allows for circumventing the phone company’s systems and dial the number anyway, and the same goes for cell phones too. ~
I've gotten a few robocalls on my landline, but most have come when I'm not home, so it doesn't register in voice mail. Since I rarely turn on my cell phone, anything that come in there I automatically delete/block if i don't recognize the number. It's usually some woman yakking at me in Chinese.
