anti-social antisocial. The increasing failure to recognize a phrase properly spelled as one word, not two (hyphenated or otherwise) has even pervaded the GPD! Grrrrr.

When has the admonishment “Google it” ever worked with me? EVER?  I’m not a millennial, so I don’t run to Google every ten seconds, I do not need it to validate or invalidate any issue or position.

I’m not even stating that you’re incorrect about the use of the hyphen, I’m merely digging my heels in, simple as that. Turn my name over to Internal Affairs if you so desire; I will gladly take them on. Grrrrrrrr.

Of course I am correct. Why else would I have posted the correction?

You’ve stopped reading for comprehension?  I didn’t state or ask whether or not you‘re correct, I expressed little interest in it.

She only likes me and my wife. She will tolerate others. She also despises other cats.

My cat antisocial?  Perish the thought.  Would you call a cat antisocial that brazenly uses the litter box in front of everyone, and then proudly struts around while singing loudly about what he just did?  How about a cat that holds his tail high while swaggering leisurely around strangers so that they can gaze upon his handsomeness?

Ok, that settles it: your cat is a ham.

My cat's fine. Never ventured out of present house, and no-one's come in; so sociability not really an issue just now.

Had cat-flap in previous house letting her have an active social life with the other cats in the neighbourhood.

He's a very timid fellow and is never around whenever I have visitors.

I have two cats. Neither one is antisocial.
One is moody. He is either very lovey or he smacks people as they walk by.  Most of the time he is a lap cat.

The other is bossy about petting him. He will meow until you pet him.
