A drone with a aquarium fish net attached to it. Cheers!

Momma hawk would sure be wondering 'what in heck is going on'? Maybe she might attack the drone.

Yeah I would probably just forget about the ball and not stress momma hawk out. Cheers!

The sensible answer is DO NOTHING.Golf balls are cheap enough to give one up.  The sheer volume of dialogue here is surprising to me. This post was edited by Thriftymaid at April 21, 2021 3:55 PM MDT

I wouldn't, because I don't play golf. Silly way of taking a walk (Mark Twain).
I played once, I shot an 89. Then, on the second hole ...

Two ways to look at this,

    1.  Play it as it lies.  Could be dangerous both from a height and physical danger from the Hawk.  Also if the authorities caught you there would be a hell of a fine.

    2.  Declare unplayable lie or lost ball and take the 2 stroke penalty

It is one stroke unless you take the option of placing it in the fairway two club lengths into, no closer to the hole.

I had to take a look at the Rule Book, you are correct.  One could declare outside agancy interferring with thew shot, ....... stretch on this one however

I looked it up, too. Pro golfers don't know all of the rules. That's why rules officials attend each tournament.
