What are some of your favorite (ironically) breakup songs, but specifically about AFTER the breakup has happened?

For example, here are just a few of mine:

“These Boots Were Made For Walkin’” by Nancy Sinatra, 1966.

“It’s Too Late” by Carol King, 1971.

“Baby, Come Back” by Player, 1971.

“Break Up To Make Up” by The Stylistics, 1972.

“She’s Gone” by Hall and Oates, 1973.

“The Breakup Song” by The Greg Kihn Band, 1981.

“How Am I Supposed to Live Without You?” by Laura Branigan, 1983.

“Careless Whisper” by Wham!, 1984.

“On My Own” duet by Patti LaBelle and Michael McDonald, 1986.

“I'll Never Get Over You Getting Over Me” by Exposé, 1992.

Why/how would anyone write a breakup song about before the breakup? It wouldn't have happened yet.

Do you understand the concepts of impending, foretelling, writing on the wall, signs of things to come?  Do you understand the meaning of a relationship being on the rocks?

      Here’s why and how: https://answermug.com/forums/topic/126640/what-are-some-of-your-favorite-songs-of-relationships-on-the-roc

This is uncanny. We have a radio station here run by high-schoolers at their school. They only play oldies...50s and 60s. This morning they played seven break-up songs in a row. I was going to ask this question, but about break-ups in general. This post was edited by Element 99 at April 21, 2021 7:07 PM MDT
