But who is monitoring the monitors? That be the question, right?

This question was just silliness passed along because I found it funny. I hope no one takes offense. I feel like I'm old enough to make old people jokes now. :)

Are you old enough to tell whippersnappers to get off of your lawn?

Sure, why not? I've done it!

That reminds me of a time a few years ago that I actually did tell some kids to get off my lawn. I typically wouldn't care - I love children and usually enjoy young people in general, but these teens were coming on to MY lawn with the expressed purpose of yelling and frightening my deer friends that were grazing peacefully. I was watching and taking pictures from the window, as I often did. I jumped up, flung open my front door and gave them a good talking-to! My tolerance for deliberate meanness to animals is non-existent. Oh, I'm getting angry just thinking about it! Grrr!

I'm still working, infant. Now get off my lawn.

We're roughly the same age - you confessed to being "a 40-something year old" when I introduced you to Evil Apples a few years ago. So was I, but considerably closer to 50 than 40 (and a newly-minted grandfather - the oldest grandchild is now four).

I was pretty sure you introduced me to Evil Apples! It recently came up on a post here.

I thought we were about the same age. I'm still sans grandchildren, sigh. There is talk of a grand-dog, though! Almost as good.

Hehe! You're not quite a pensioner yet, though. And you're probably in first place in the "Least Active Member" contest, so it's all good.

I don't think having the "Least Active Member" is all good. Besides, I asked you to keep that quiet!

Hahaha! Good point. Keep it up and you might attain that sainthood you're always working toward, though. Hehe.

Doesn't having the "least active member" make "keep it up" difficult? I've already dashed my faint hopes of sainthood in this one sentence.

See, you MISS this banter on the main pages!

You're getting slowly sucked in, aren't you?

    Hehe

I've never seen evidence of even one here!

You couldn't bring yourself to make a retort to 'getting slowly sucked', huh? I win! Hehe.

You do win. Although, a filthier mind than mine, isn't something that should be necessarily celebrated.

No, I don't think so. But anyway didn't Einstein say something like 'imagination is greater than knowledge'?

Imagination helps inspire the evolutionary process.

I can't argue with that. You might be winning, Kittigate!
