  • I'm too dark for some versions of New Age spirituality,
    the kinds that insist that one may only express happiness and light,
    and create all kinds of false masks in the process.
    To me, being real about the whole spectrum hues and shades of feelings is essential,
    because they are the compass to empathy, ethics, and emotional growth.
