If you would very much like something to happen do you say 'i want....' rather than say i wish or I hope?

Eg. I want you to help me....
Uh..ok sure.

I wish you would help me with
I hope you would help me...
Ok maybe later.

I want to get a better paying job could make it happen.
I wish/hope to get a better paying job; just wishy washy thinking, no action.

I want you to have a happy Thursday!

    I want: a really good paying job, my teeth fixed a face lift after that and a new car.  

    Oh, and some spiffy clothing and a new hair style for my new really good paying job.
