Feeling and being lucky today. When I was in the store parking lot today the cops showed up to arrest a guy that was drunk and disorderly. Because he was talking to me when the cops showed up I was guilty by association so they asked to see my ID and I showed them my official Star Trek membership card - lucky they didn't throw my stupid a** in jail. I'm not a member of the Star Trek club I just carry the card around for a laugh, Cheers and happy weekend!
Well, I've had a very pleasant day....totally lazy I admit. All of my housework and legal/tax work was done yesterday and I have leftovers for dinner and both of my phones are turned off. I'm reading a book that is fun so, while you may not call that luck, it seems to me to fit. I'm old enough to have many memories of what were to be pleasant alone days that went to hell pretty early in the morning.
