Is it illegal to send a threat to your own Facebook account that has been hacked?

I have a Facebook account using a fake name where only my brother is my friend. I use it to share post with only him.
I know it was hacked because besides not being able to log in with the correct password it now shows 11 friends of people I do not know.
So I logged into my brother's account and sent this message. I will kill you sometime this week and you can do nothing to stop me.

Probably illegal and against Facebook rules but I can't really blame you because it sucks to get hacked. Cheers!

It is a death threat sent via the internet....yes illegal.

Likely also illegal under Facebook rules as well.
