    Got a great deal on a plant and only cost $10 but the thing is the other one was $165. But is the only one in existence.

      That’s easy! It’s a two-step process:

      Step 1.  Distract his attention.
      Step 2.  Break it to him gently. (Properly timing it is your best friend here.)
