Not viewing things as black or white and making excuses for other people isn't wishy-washy Jane. It's openminded and empathetic! 

If using many filters to narrow-down the bazillion choices of almost EVERYTHING you might want to buy from Amazon or many other online retailers means I find it hard to make choices when there are too many options, I'm with you on that, too!  :)

Yes, it's all how you look at things. I do consider myself open-mined and empathic to a fault which can come across as wishy-washy to people less enlightened than you and I.
