    No.  Everything goes neatly onto shelves as purchased ... all neatly lined up and date rotated (even in the fridge and freezer). 

    Hmmm... perhaps I worked in a grocery store too long.

    I usually store everything as is until it is opened. Any leftovers go in sealed containers.

  • I store sugar, rice, and flower in special containers.  Otherwise, everything else is stored in the same containers from which it is sold
