Partially. I occasionally have to push a little on the infrequent occasions that I wear a crucifix in my left earlobe. The hole is crooked, I was drunk and so was the friend who pierced it. Seemed like a good idea at the time. This post was edited by Slartibartfast at May 31, 2021 9:55 AM MDT

I only have pierced earlobes and I wear earrings almost every day, so the holes haven't closed.  

I have a hole the disappeared decades ago. I skipped the piercing process.
