What is the age of the oldest living person that you know?

A friend's father recently turned age 110 (born 1911).

My father-in-law is 93. One grandfather was 99 when he passed a few years ago.

What does 'once removed' mean? Was he kicked out?

    Move down a generation.

    So his first cousin's child.
Or Stu's parent"s first cousin. (More lilely for this question)

Most people say 2nd cousin but that is wrong.
2nd cousins are both children of first cousins.

    It is.
But basically your kids to your first cousin are first cousins once removed (one generation apart)

Your kids and your cousins kids are 2nd cousins.
Your grandkids and your first cousin are 1st cousins twice removed. (2 generations apart)

I have a family tree program is makes it easier to see when dealing with people you know exactly how you are related.
