It is queerly odd and bizarrely peculiar. All relationships include compromise. Marriages, friendships, employment, etc. The EXCEPTION?

To compromise is to make concessions or accommodations for someone who does not agree with a prevalent set of standards or rules. So wouldn't it depend on what they would have to compromise? Perhaps a compromise would cause irreparable damage to the whole of society. In that case, not compromising wouldn't be as stupid and dumb as one would think.
