No need to visit the home of my childhood because I have been living in the home of my childhood for almost 40 years.
I lived in my childhood home until I was in my 20's, at which time I moved into my first apartment. I returned to live in my childhood home years ago because of family issues.
We've always lived in apartment buildings. I've never been back to the apartment where I was a child, nor have I been back to the apartment I grew up in although about 20 years ago, we drove by the building.
I don't even know if the building where I lived until I was 5 is still standing. After that, I know the building is still there and they have added trees on the block which is very nice.
Yes, quite often. My oldest sister owns the house and presently lives there. The house itself is nearly 150 years old. Every time I visit it brings back a lot of good memories. :)
Only to ride by it. The last time I was in town I rode by and it has, surprisingly, been maintained quite well. The church to which we belonged was right behind it and the church looks like it did 50 years ago. The area in general has gone downhill but the block on which we lived is still very recognizable.
Yes, been quite a few years ago but it was me, my older brother and sister and we asked the people living there if we could come in and look around and we did. I did move to another house when I was 12.
