Do you prefer plain or decorative fabric on your clothing?

Plain shirts vs. striped or pattern for example.  Plain or flowers for dresses.

  • I am male.  I prefer plain fabric for my clothes.  However, during the 1970's my shirts and pants were not at all plain.  Here's an image of men's clothes of the 1970's:

  • My siblings and I recently laughed at the clothes that we wore during the 1970's.  However, the clothes that we wore during the 1970's was fashionable.

    I do love plaids and gingham.  I like vertical or diagonal stripes.  I had polka dot items that I loved too.  I now mostly wear capris and T-shirts so I don't have much clothing made of patterned fabrics.  Oh, and I generally don't care for florals.  They are OK for cotton summer housecoats though.
