    If the building was known to be so potentially dangerous it should have been evacuated and either repaired or demolished, not left to worsen. Obviously its residents would have to be offered appropriate accommodation locally; or new homes built for them.

    Well finally all occupants of the other wing have been ordered to move out. It's just so tragic. There are tragedies homo saps can't do anything about except react to AFTER the fact. Earthquakes or hurricanes being among them. But THIS was totally preventable. Which makes it ever so much worse. Thank you for your reply Durdle and Happy Sunday to you and yours! :)
