The obvious one was when my voice broke. Then when I started singing seriously, I trained under a maestro of the Elizabethan Opera, which ģave me breath control and helped me to project (if you can't feel your sinuses buzzing, you're not doing it right). Then stupid me got addicted to nicotine - it didn't wreck my sense of pitch, but dirtied the clarity.
