Australian police actually do their jobs. They would forcibly evict the squatters, I've seen it done.

In a lot of cases, our police will keep the legal homeowner from entering their homes.

And what are they going to do, besides tell you to leave? This post was edited by Wolfhound at July 29, 2021 6:51 PM MDT

    Not where I live.
They would remove and arrest them for tresspassing, breaking and entering, and and property damage they may have caused.

We don't waste our time with calling the police around here, we take care of the problem ourselves, and no one is the wiser. With my excavator, I can dig a deep hole in the matter of minutes.

No. Mostly in the suburbs, not out here in the sticks, at least not the human kind.

  • I would call the police.  No cops where I live are going to allow squatters to stay where they don't belong.
Plus, I live in a gated community and my neighbors would have booted them out already.

OMG, perish the thought.  What an utter, devastating breach of privacy.

In my state squatters, if they (the squatters) cannot prove they have a right under adverse possession laws, can be criminally charged with trespassing and be immediately removed by law enforcement.  Not all states have such logical laws.    KNOW YOURS.

Anything I said on here could be used in a court to incriminate me ... so I won't say.

Bury them in the peat moss bog then dig them up in 20 years and call them Mummy (peat moss bogs have preserving properties). Cheers and happy weekend!
