I, myself, am surprised that I've lived in my present apartment for almost 42 years.

Im sorry, but the local apostrophe plant burned down.  Were currently trying to get some from the Sacramento facility.

My last childhood home has a history and it's a history I no longer want to remember. The same goes for all of the others. I left all of those homes behind a long time ago. Just another pain I'll have to deal with I suppose. This post was edited by Zack at August 8, 2021 4:26 PM MDT

Why?  let it go.  Don't breathe life into old pain that is over, it's over and done.  Move on...in my opinion.

Yes I still live in the skid zone or in the vicinity thereof for the last 20 years. People who have known me having become a heavy boozer and largely unemployable understand that and are not surprised. However I did cut the booze some years ago now but I remain living here because this is where all my colourful friends are and the few who became sobered up are mostly who I spend time with.
