What are some of the best ways to take advantage of the invention of language?

Eg. How could you make good apple pie if there was was no language to make up the recipe?

      Seeing as “the invention” of language took place over thousands of years ago, and the use of language and languages has continued since their inception, and has evolved exponentially, “taking advantage” of it is an ongoing process. The wording of your question can be interpreted as seeking to adopt ways to apply a new discovery in practical means. I don’t find it very easy to answer.
