I expect every gun person keeps a loaded gun within easy reach. What would be the point of having guns elsewise?

Keep them locked up in a gun case with bullets kept elsewhere? You'd be dead in a second if that's how you rolled.

How do you roll?

    I have a gun in my home. It is never within reach unless I go to get it.  

    My bullets are with the gun.

    Yes. Until I get to it. Or someone else in my home gets to it. I also do not live in the city.

    I have young grandkids....it would be irresponsible to keep a gun in their reach.

    I don't know about other gun owners but I have a firearm within easy reach at all times.

    I keep my guns locked up, except for a couple of them. One is loaded and is on my side at all times. and the other few are loaded and placed in certain places around the house. There's no kids here to worry about.
