Like SavvyAnsley, I figured it out without seeing your entire post. :)
For my high school prom, our planning committee was meeting about a theme for the prom. I said, "How about 'Knights in White Satin?' " The president of the committee looked at me and shook his head in disbelief and laughed. I loved that entire album, and, at the time, the album cover's image of what I perceived as a knight on a white horse -- in the bottom right of the artwork -- I just equated it with the song, "Knights," not "Nights."

And my "Tuesday Afternoon" suggestion went over just as badly. (Even though, in some ways, I like that song the best on that album.)

I use to love this album starting from 13. 73'. I had a group of buddies who I hung with and the host threw this on all of while drinking beer.
