Why do we sigh "Oh, well!' even when we acknowledge or accept an unpleasant occurrence. Wouldn't "Oh, unwell!" or "Oh sick!" be appropriate?

    Methink it may apply when wishing God's will be done even when we don't understand, like or agree with it. Tis an old but still current school of thought.
