the withdrawal from Afghanistan?
Practically every time over the past five days that Biden or his press secretary or other Biden administration officials have been asked hard questions, direct questions about the way the Afghani withdrawal has been handled so far, their go-to “response” is to A) ignore the questions, B) divert the conversation to a canned response about how and why Biden made the decision to withdraw. Biden gives the impression that he actually thinks he’s being challenged on the withdrawal decision, or being asked to explain the withdrawal decision.
It has been repeated by the Biden crowd again and again that 20 years of US military involvement has grown to a fruitless effort, especially in view of what Afghanis will or will not do on there own, countless Afghani and US lives have been lost and/or injuries sustained, billions of US dollars expended, and four presidential administrations have overseen the Afghanistan operations. As discharge, Biden decided enough was enough and ordered the withdrawal. Even though I’m paraphrasing, these are the facts that are already accepted on their face value, and numerous American people see it exactly as Biden does.
On the other hand, the manner in which the departure itself has so far been handled is the issue that gets ignored in order to hit the rewind button of Biden patting himself on the back for how wonderful he is for ordering the pullout.
Even some left-wing or liberal or Democrat voices are speaking out against how Biden and the Biden crowd have performed.
