Someone who doesn't hog the arm rest; doesn't bring stinky food to eat; sits quietly and behaves.

A thin person who keeps his shoes on and doesn't have any horrible habits.

Someone I know, I’ve been on a few flights where I’ve had to sit next to strangers and I hate it. Too much awkward small talk and not knowing how to deal with the armrest.

You should get askers pick!  Great answer.

[Originally, I assigned him Asker’s Pick as soon as I read his answer, but then two seconds later, I saw the very next person gave almost the exact same answer (they may have posted right at the same time and neither knew that the other had done so), which prompted me to delete the pick. It didn’t seem fair to grant one yet not the other, but only one can receive the honor. Dilemmas, dilemmas.]

A reasonably well-behaved and friendly child between the ages of 4-11.

    Or a dog.

Someone who immediately puts on an eye mask and headphones and sleeps though the flight without snoring or putting her/his head on my shoulder.

I haven't flown enough to have any criteria.

And, actually, after reading your question, I could only think of this little scene form "Airplane!" (even though I'm more open with my taste than the girl)

And I had no idea that this "Airplane!" scene is based on a scene from another movie -- "Crash Landing" (1958) --  shown here before the "Airplane!" scene! Ha!

Lol, practically every scene in the entire “Airplane!” spoof series is taken from previous movies! That’s the whole point!

I guess I really didn't know the specifics of the movie - - I knew it was a spoof of disaster movies but that's about it.

You were mostly correct, but it’s specifically airplane-related disaster movies that they spoofed, not just disaster movies in general.

Again, I was terribly unclear. I knew "Airplane!" was spoofing not only disaster movies, but specifically airplane-related movies. However, I had NO idea that "Airplane!" was full of specific scenes that were spoofing specific scenes from previous movies, ha! Thanks for that heads-up! That makes the movie that much funnier to me.

I've posted before: My favorite scene (and my group of friends with me in the theater questioningly looked at me, wondering why I was laughing THAT hard) is when  the stewardess is running along the airport runway, waving and yelling at her love interest in the plane as it's traveling down the runway to take off, and she starts running into obstacles on the runway. Or maybe a guy is running along the runway yelling at his female love interest in the plane. Anyway, I howled laughing during those moments! The only one in the theater howling that loudly.

I wish I could find that scene to post, but I've tried a couple of times in the past and didn't find it.

I prefer no passenger sitting beside me but you asked for one for which I will comply. A passenger that doesn't talk at all. There, you have it!

Good point! I don't know. Yikes. If it s something uncalled for, or something I don't the meaning for, woops.

I thought he was just doing an "A-OK" sign.

      I’m sure it’s fine. Please don’t second-guess-delete it.
