    You can access Kindle on a Smartphone after you install the app.

    My SIL has a Kindle that just does Kindle and nothing else. I have an app on the tablet that pinch-hits for it, but most of my ebooks are in PDF or EPUB format anyway.

    I have a smartphone, but the screen is too small to read books or magazines ... or play some games.
