When you see an elderly person pushing their pet in a stroller does that mean they think it is their granddog or grandcat?

No grandchildren so why not a grand pet?

Or the animal is too old/infirm to walk on its own.
Or the person is using the stroller as a walker, to maintain their own balance, and the pet is along for the ride.

I think they just like to spoil their fur babies.

There is nothing wrong with having a grand dog or cat.  Loneliness sucks!  However, only a chihuahua goes in a stroller.  Cats are too proud to go in a stroller ... and will use their razor sharp claws and teeth to illustrate that point.  A Rottweiler is just to heavy.  You can try reinforcing the stroller to help support the extra weight, but that only makes it even harder to push.

Hey, I'm trying to reduce weight on a stroller here.  That extra "o" had to go.

I have no idea what it means but I've seen all aged people doing it.   We did it when we were little kids using our doll strollers.  We also put doll clothes on our cats.  They hated it.  Sometimes they would run away and straight up a tree.  The neighbors always laughed at the clothed kitties.  :)

I don't think that, but also don't think there would be anything wrong with that.
