An ineffective breakfast combo?

After eating my favorite breakfast cereal, Post Raisin Bran, I added a serving of Benefiber's Healthy Shape Prebiotic to my Carnation Rich Milk Chocolate Breakfast Essential.

Will the Post and Pre cancel each other out?

;)

I don't know if one will cancel out the other, but I do know that Raisin Bran has 19 grams of sugar.  Original Cheerios would be healthier.

Takin' the wind out of my sails, huh? I LOVE Post Raisin Bran. Darn. And I just looked -  - my box says "20 grams." Ha!  I love both the bran flakes, too, in Post Raisin Bran.

    :)

I do like original Cheerios, though -- maybe I'll get those and add my own raisins - - I literally thought raisins were candy for most of my young life. (Or maybe it's the raisins, themselves, that add all the sugar, darn.)

Got to go to work for most of weekend now.  Be Well!

    :)

Sorry about that. :)  I mix the multi-grain Cheerios with Basic 4 and have that for breakfast every day.  The cereal that is best for you is disgusting - oatmeal - YUCK!  I try to eat nutritionally well, but I'm at the age where looking forward to something good to eat is more important than watching how much sugar is in my morning meal.

I hated oatmeal, but when I tried making overnight oats, I changed my mind. Turns our oatmeal tastes better cold and I actually look forward to eating breakfast.

I like oatmeal cookies.  Otherwise, oatmeal is just another name for spackle.

But wait! I love oatmeal, SpunkySenior, ever since my childhood I have always loved it! Does this mean we have to get a divorce?

Have you looked at the raisins in those cereals? They're coated with sugar.

You mean, Cheerios have another use other than for stacking on babies' heads?

Perfectly correct use of the apostrophe there.  I love you, Mate.

How about eggs, toast, and a piece of fruit.  I don't eat those processed foods, myself.
