But the cold brew is my current addiction. I’m wondering if I try substituting it with the crack maybe I could save some money.

Yeah you might be right, I don’t know. How  much does a cup of the crack go for these days anyway?

Having tried neither, nor having a desire to do so ... I would say: Red Lobster biscuits.
OMG!  I can't get enough of those things.
If they bring them to the table before I order, I fill up on them and don't order dinner.  lol

Oh yeah those are soooo good :) Have you tried the copy cat recipe? They’re easy to make and taste pretty close to the same as Red Lobster ones.

Well as far as I know nobody sells their body for another cup of vanilla cold brew from Starbucks but it becomes a common thing for crack heads. So I figure the crack is much more addictive. Cheers and happy weekend!! This post was edited by Nanoose at November 19, 2021 11:23 AM MST

Yikes, okay I better stay away from the crack then and stick with my daily cold brew fix. HAPPY WEEKEND! I started mine early to get stuff done around the house but all I’ve done so far is make a Starbucks run and watch reruns of the office lol.

    Are you in the floods?

No floods in my area but parts of the island got hit pretty bad. I  started watching reruns  of the TV series Married With Children - I forgot how funny it  is. Cheers and happy weekend!.

That’s good you didn’t get hit. I used to love that show when I was a kid:) I think I saw it’s on Prime now but I haven’t watched it in years.

You can wean yourself from Starbucks by going to Tim Horton's, eh.

Tim Hortons was the gateway drug that lead me to my Starbucks addiction.

I have not tried either one. But I would assume crack is more addictive.

How anybody could become addicted to the vile concoctions that Starbucks pretends are "coffee" is beyond me. It's gross, revolting and makes you chunder.
Starbucks FAILED in Australia. We're awful coffee snobs and won't pay high prices for bad coffee.

Incidentally, the most addictive substance that exists is nicotine. That's why it's so damned hard to quit. This post was edited by Slartibartfast at November 20, 2021 9:11 PM MST

    I disagree with the nicotine.
Chunder? Is that only used in the Land Down under?

Numerous behavioural scientists have demonstrated it. Actually three of the six most addictive substances are legal - alcohol and caffeine also rate

I almost bought a bottle of the crap they sling in the supermarket dairy section today but was able to resist.

I did have something delicious from there recently. I can't imagine crack can be that much more addictive. But sounds even more expensive than Bucky's!
