When you want mention about a person you were with one time but you forget their name, what term do you use?

Eg.. I was with 'what's her/his name'... 'So-and-so' and me.... 'the old lady and I'...

    I would likely say "a friend and I"....even though if I forgot their name we were probably not really friends. 
    So it could be "a guy and I" or "some girl and I."

      That’s extremely narrow thinking. There are far too many probabilities as to why a person is forgetful of things to assume that only your negative viewpoint of the range of potential answers is valid.
