New statue at the UN, does it bring feelings of "Peace and Safety" to you?

     It sure doesn't make me think of peace and safety when I look at it. Whoever the artist was they sure got that wrong.

    It does match some of the beast in Rev but not all.  

    Body of a leopard, mouth of a lion, feet of bear...

    Definitely body of a leopard, and mouth of a lion but looks like feet of a leopard to me and the beast of Rev is mentioned having the eagle's wings (the Beast in Daniel does) 
    Which is why many claim USA will not be around at the end.  I think it just means USA will not be part of the world government. 

    There are also verses in Rev talking about how they will be saying Peace and Safety in the end times.

    Yep.
    The Biblical "end times" predictions have "wars and rumors of wars" AND "peace and safety" ... so you pretty much have all your bases covered.

    Yes, but there are things that have not happened yet.  And Jesus will not return until those things happen.   The "peace and safety" is not that there will be peace and safety....it is that the end time people will claim believe they are in as they will believe Jesus has returned.

    It represents  a guardian for international peace and security so I can see it having to be something that is fierce looking. It is similar to BC aboriginal art there are a lot of fierce/scary creatures on a Totem pole but they are there to protect us not destroy us. Cheers!
